Vote To Save your Country!

Why vote for someone who doesn’t match your ideology?  If you’re Pro-Life, why vote for a candidate who isn’t? In short, no candidate is your ideological doppelganger! There will always be compromises you have to make. It’s not a question of ideological purity, it’s a question of political majority! If you don’t have the majority than the other party decides what is voted on and what the agendas for the committees will be. And you and your party is left out in the cold!

Let’s ask this question first.  If a democrat is elected to the House seat of your neighborhood, or the Senate from our State, do YOU  think that a democrat will take your call?  Do you think that you will be able to persuade that democrat, even if you strongly suggest that you will campaign to your family and friends, neighbors and community that they NOT support that Republican in the Summer and Fall of the next election cycle?

The answer is, if you get a call or contact with that democrat, they’re going to tell you to kiss off.  They don’t need you.  They’re going to be elected by democrats, not republicans.  Ignore the pablum that the democrat spews:  “I represent all my constituents.”  BULLSNIKEY!  You represent those who are going to donate and vote for you in the next election.  If there’s one thing that we’ve learned from the democrats in the last thirty years, is that they’re firmly in the camp of “For me and my constituents, and to HELL with you Republicans!”

We never get the candidate we completely agree with.  Unless you know of a place where Jesus Christ is running, then I would have to say that the person you are going to vote for is flawed and doesn’t match your ideology.

There will be differences.

And that’s Okay!

We don’t want automatons for our political leaders.  Look at Joe Biden.  He is the automaton of Obama.  Obama is happy.  Jill Biden is happy and so are many of the far left democrats.  Yet, the “real” democrats, individuals such as RFK, jr and Tulsi and others are simply unhappy with the far left policies that the automaton are putting out at the behest of his master and commander- Obama.

The way to lose an election is to push forward an automaton.

Yet there is more.

We have primaries for a reason.  The primaries, in my opinion are intended to weed out the necessary data on a candidate to prepare them for the prime spot or to give you, the voter, the opportunity to vet the candidate.  This means, making sure that they are suitable to the party and are aligned with the majority of the parties core ideological beliefs.  It doesn’t mean that they’re an exact copy of the party.

Okay then, let’s pretend that we will ONLY accept those that are ideologically pure.  I’m not suggesting the candidates who “claim” to be a conservative or America First, or whatever, but have a voting record that is diametrically different.  I’m talking about those who either, don’t have a voting record yet or have demonstrated with their words or their actions their belief system.  This isn’t Walz going out like Elmer Fudd, and demonstrating that they can’t even load their shotgun.

This is, President Trump, getting on the Garbage Truck and doing an interview from the passenger seat or going into the McDonald’s and using the fryer, handing out food to the people driving around.  We all know that President Trump has never worked on a garbage truck and he has never worked at a McDonald’s.  Yet, the authenticity of connecting to the common man is clear.  This is the type of demonstration we’re talking about and the messenger we’re looking for.

Yet, at the end of the day, who wins the primary is often the person who has raised enough money to win.  The sad truth is this.  It’s not something we can embrace happily, but it is the truth.  Of course, those who can keep the numbers close, replace money with messages and get the media to give free publicity, as President Trump has demonstrated, can overcome the money.

However, there is only ONE Donald Trump and he isn’t running for anything else but President.  We can try to emulate him, but we will never be him.

So how do we win then?

We win by sticking together.  We win by holding your nose and voting for the Republican.  I know, they don’t align with you.  I know the reports are that they say things you don’t like.

So What!

I ask the question again.  Do you really think the Democrat is going to have you in their office and talk to you about your concerns?  The answer is they won’t.   EVER!

The Republican, the one that doesn’t align with you.  That doesn’t always vote the way you like can be pressured or persuaded to vote the way you want.  Get enough of your friends together, petition them, call them email them and put them on notice that you don’t agree.

If you do that to a Democrat, they’ll ignore you because they don’t need your vote.

You decide.  Either put someone in office that can be persuaded and pressured to vote the way you want.  Or sit this one out and let the Democrat get voted in and we can all complain, bitch and moan about how much we hate the Democrat.

You only change the nature of our country by winning.  You can only fix the country by winning.  You don’t win if you decide to sit out the vote because you’re upset that your primary choice lost and claim that the Republican running doesn’t match you ideologically.

Get it together.
